A week today, we are hosting our second virtual town hall: Canada's Chambers of Commerce: Where does inclusivity fit?A number of the rural Canadian podcast guests from season one expressed less-than-welcome experiences with their local business associations, as women entrepreneurs, as non-binary or queer entrepreneurs, as BIWOC, as folks with visible or hidden disabilities and any the intersection of these and other minority groups.One of the most recognized business brands in Canada is the "Chamber of Commerce". What are these business associations doing to welcome young professionals, particularly from minority groups?I pitched a project to Venture for Canada and post secondary students could choose to form a team. This report (to be released mid-September) is their project.They will highlight their methodology and what they found at the virtual town hall.If you can't make it, please sign up so you get the report.
