You may remember Ann Douglas from her many best-selling books on parenting or her sage advice on CBC Radio but now Ann's kids have all grown up and left home and she's turned her attention to the glorious messiness of midlife. She hasn't just been researching it (although she interviewed over 100 women with diverse backgrounds, dozens of subject matter experts and read over 1000 articles to prep), she is actually living it, trying to find her own way though all the messiness - career curveballs, mental and physical health challenges, a house fire, relationship highs and lows, the death of a parent and the list goes on.
